It is offered with a powerful 6.8 L EFI Triton V10 engine with a 5-speed TorqShift® automatic transmission. This Transmission is designed for tough commercial-duty applications. The F-53 has a standard GVWR of 16 tons which can be upgraded to 26 tons. For safety purpose it is equipped with 4-wheel disc anti-lock braking system (ABS).
